Baptism

Aloha
Today I was confirmed in the LDS Church Institute Branch. When I was given the Holy Spirit I was filled with warmth and strengthened, it was as if my body was filled with tingly goodness. I have a testimony to bear about my faith. I could not take my friend to the airport, for I had to stay at service today. I was fortunate for my cousin to take my friend instead. I was sad because I wanted to see my friend off. The Lord provided an opportunity. When service finished I called to see if everything went well and it turned out the flight was cancelled. I was able to pick up my friend, enjoy a wonderful lunch together and then see him off at the airport. I am so blessed to have those moments with my friend. There was no way for us to know that the flight would be cancelled. The Lord knew what was in my heart and rewarded me for taking my convenant with him to be true to his gospel. I am so blessed and fortunate. This past week, preparing for my baptism has been filled with wonderful moments. Learning from the elders, meeting other members in fellowship has been awesome. I have found blessings in other parts of my life as well, simple as it may sound for me, for the first time I willingly swam in the ocean where I couldn't touch the bottom. I didn't go very deep, nor did I place my head in the water, but I plan to. I plan on taking baby steps and preparing myself to participate in a triathalon in September. I believe that if God wills it then it may happen. I wish I had started sharing earlier than today about my experiences. But it is better to start now than later :)
